Application Guidelines
Determine the correct dosage according to age / weight and usage situation
Dose to the heaviest body weight in the mob
For animals < 20kg live weight apply as a single band along the middle of the back, from poll to tail
For animals ≥ 20kg live weight apply two even bands, from the poll to tail, approximately 5cm from the backline on either side of the animal (see diagram)
Check all sheep at the end of each race to ensure correct application
Retreat any sheep that have been missed or incorrectly treated
Confining sheep in the yards for a short time will improve the spread of product around the body via rubbing / or physical contact with other sheep1
Sheep may be re-handled when product is dry
Moderate rainfall (20mm in 20 minutes) occurring after treatment will not adversely affect lice control provided by Extinosad Pour-On. However, it is good agricultural practice not to treat animals when they are wet or if rain is likely
Extinosad Pour-On contains a scourable blue dye to identify treated sheep
Rinse applicator and draw-off lines in water after each day's use
